Today I had the great joy of attending the Moon Valley Ward in which Elaine & Lloyd and Wendy and Mike and their family attend. I was asked specially by Jacob if I would come he was going to be ordained an Elder after their meetings today. Of course I was very pleased to go. It was wonderful. He has grown into manhood, with a strong testimony of the gospel, with a good knowledge of the Scripture both old and current day writing and talks of the Prophets. And most importance he is making them the gaudiness for his life. He is planning to start his mission papers soon. I know in my heart he will serve a very special mission.
It was a special joy, he had Lloyd do the ordination. An when it was completed, he gave Lloyd a big big hug. And the look on his face was of complete joy. I was able to get a really good picture of Jacob and his Mom & Dad together at the Church.
I want to make copes to give them.
After Elaine invited me to come over and have lunch with them. It was very nice. Josiah and Heidi with little Spencer.I got to play with him and give him bottle. he is such a doll.
After I left I went over to spend some time with Paul. He was very sleeping, I am not sure he knew it was me. He wasn't responding much. He tried a couple of times to start a sentence, but was unable to finish his thought. He did mention again that he was tired of this. (I think is means he is tired of being seek and having to have care.) He has been talking more about that just recently. I stead for a while holding his hands while he mostly slept. That seemed to help him stop shacking as he was when I got there.

An Emportant Time In Life
While visiting with Paul yesterday I realize that he is in tune enough to know that there is no turning back, he is dying, but that he is getting tried of waiting. He is happy to see me and others that come to see him. But expressing he is getting tired of things as they are. This is something he has not expressed to me before. I wish I knew the words that would comfort him. He has voiced that he worries about me, so I have been making effort to tell him and retell him of the things the family is doing for me. That I am not alone. He needs not worry.
I wish I could talk to him about what is happening in your world today. Not to worry him, but to let him see our County coming to life. That we have a Great Man, who I fell was sent by God to help teach and inspire the good average man and woman the truths of the government. And tell of the Men and Women who are taking over our government. His name is Glenn Beck, he is on Fox News stations. He is A very honest and trustworthy man with principles. He is a strong member of the Church of Later Day Saints. He knows that it is time for the citizen of our country to Stand Up and Speck Boldly the truth. and facts. And to Make our people in government to stand up and pledge to stop the spending and passing of any laws not reviewed by us the People and congress. That governing people including the President not take people and give them power without the approval being passed by all members of congress. And more with pledging to do their work on fact, truths, and in accordance to our Constitution.
They (Congress) to see that the buying of foreuan oil be stopped and we use our own energy sources to provide for our needs,
That all this and more they must pledge or loose their jobs.
And all of this to be presented to each without the use of sticks or gun but with Boldness.
There well be the biggest gathering in Washington DC 9/12/2009, The People are going to show the United States we want our government by Pledging their selves back to the Constitution.
I know I can't attend, but I can send letters to every political person in my area.
And I will see that my Flag is Flying brightly.
I feel that rather than dark bad times, we are going to see some great and wonderful things prevail. And will restore the strength and honor of the United States once again.

Good Family Night
The weekend was nice. With all the rain it made it special. We have been hoping for some more, but it doesn't look like that is what we will got.
Sunday was very nice. We had a young speaker talk to us about the Sacrament and what it means. He did it a A very clear spiritual way. Shared the wonderful feeling he shares with his companion when there traveled to those who can't come to church. It means much to the Patience who receive The Sacrament. I know that Paul my be confused at times, But he knows what it means an he is so great full. He growes sharing his special testimony of the Gospel:
It always Bright tears to Paul eyes he was so touched.
The Young Priests seem to be growing in their spirites and testimony.
I had a lovely Famiy Home Evening At the end I sured with them about my Mission Experiance I has with Irene De Vor .
It is geting late and I need to get to bed. So I will share it next time.
I am planning tomorrow go visit Paul an go to Costco. I'm thinking that if I time these right, can pop-in-on Christine and Bill too. That would be fun.

It's Raining, It's Raining
It's at long last raining and I got to walk in it. It felt wonderful. I love walking in the rain. I got really wet and had to change as soon as I got home. But it was worth it. I had been visiting over at Elaine and Lloyd's with lots of friends and family, a kind of "Good Bye" for Sarah sense she is leave tomorrow for BYU. There was a nice bunch of people, lot out swimming (until the lightning started) and a bunch just milling and setting around enjoying visiting. It was really fun, but as the storm began blowing in most began leaving. Dear Jacob walked be out to the parking area to my car, and we both got drenched. It was lost of fun.
Earlier today I visited with Paul. He knew who I was I think. He didn't do much talking and very short answers or comments. He had just had his bath and was happy about that. He seemed to enjoy my sitting and just holding his hand, so a I did. And then he fell to sleep.

It's Been Hard To Write
The visits with Paul the last couple of weeks have been very surprising. He has been very aware that it was me and very talkative. He has asked about the family, neighbors, people at Church in many cases by name. He has expressed how special the "Kids are". How proud he is of them. He has expressed how much my visits mean to him.
This has made the past week difficult. About two weeks ago. Paul express that he was sorry about "all of this" and that he had thought he "would have left by now". When I asked him where to he said "Ah Heaven". I was really thrown. I was not prepare for that at all. I just told him how much I loved him and helped him wipe his tears and mine. A couple of days later I was taken to the hospital and was there for five days. (Some high blood pressure problems. All major tests turned out well. BP and anxiety are now being controled with meds. And doing OK).
When I got back over to see Paul they told me he had been sad and teary eyed a lot. He has been talking a lot to the nurses and telling them he used to be in the Air Force and worked with computers. He has been asking about his "boys".
When I visited with him today I tried to let him know what a good husband he has been. And how glad I am that we have had the time we have. Also, reassuring him that I am fine and that the family is looking after me and doing all kinds of things to be of help. (He doesn't know I was in the hospital and I don't want him to know).
I remember seeing both of my parents hold on, even when it was obvious that it was time for them to go, they held on because of their worry about others. And not until they were reasured that all was going to be all right did they let go. I don't want that to be the case for Paul. He has been ill for so long.
Maybe I need to let go more and let him be in the Lord's Hands.
I don't know what has brought all the change. No medication has been changed. It is a time I had not been prepare for now.
But I am great full for the opportunity to communicate with Paul for what ever time there may be.
He has been removed from Hospice. That doesn't change much, only that he has be stable for two months so he, at this time, is not with Hospice. However they did let me know that can been changed at any time. He stays right where he is and costs are the same.

It's been a let down!
I spent all week following the doctors direction and taking it easy to get over the problem from the antibiotics I had to take three weeks ago. I knew I had to attend a Traffic School class Saturday morning. I had gotten a delay on it from when I got the original infection, back three weeks or so ago.
So I thought I could handle it. I did fairly well and the class was really interesting. But when I went out to the car, which had been sitting right out in the HOT sun, the air conditioner didn't work. It was so very hot and I had a ways to go. I hadn't seen Paul all week, so I stopped by to see him on my way home anyway.
He was doing fine. We visited a bet, but he didn't know who I was. I did feed him some potato chips and juice. He seem to really like that.
When I got back in the car, it surprised me and the cooler worked.
So I was wore out and feeling like I really needed to take it easy the rest of the day.
This morning I woke up not my best, but really wanting to get to Church. I did, and I am glad, it was really great. I enjoy Fast and Testimony Meetings so much. But by the time the meeting was over, I was a mess again. So I left and came home.
Later this after noon The family was all getting together for Birthday Sunday at Elaine and Lloyd's. I was really looking forward to seeing all the family. But I just couldn't make it.
I did get to watch a couple of really great talks on the BYU Chanel and a couple of movies on the TCM chanel.
To keep from going crazy the last few weeks, I have been making a Afghan. I have always wanted one and never had one. They were always made for someone else. I happened to have the yarn that I purchased some time ago to do one, so I have been creating one for me. It has help keep my spirits up a bet. It's turning out to look pretty nice.
Well, maybe I will see the end of all this and get back to a normal day soon.
However, it has kept me out of the bad Hot weather.
