One More Day

We were scheduled to transfer Paul from Hospice of the Valley into Good Shepherd this morning. However, we had to wait for "Marie Graham" of "Mercy Care" to call and give the OK she was suppose to fax yesterday to Good Shepherd. I was beginning to think we were starting back to a month and a half or so again. But, after waiting and waiting and Good Shepherd calling and calling, at 4:45pm. Marie called and left a message giving the final OK. Hurray!!!

So, tomorrow morning I am to meet them at Hospice of the Valley and we will transfer Paul to his new room at Good Shepherd. I feel like taking a great big breath and shouting, It Is Finally Over.

I called and checked up on Laura, she sounds so awful. The bug she has has settled in her chest. She saw the doctor thank goodness. He gave her some meds. Now if she will just rest. The children are old enough to take care of things. She goes so hard, but then, Wendy a week or so did about the same thing. This has been a hard year for allergy's and flu's. There is one flu that is hitting all over the world, that started in Mexico. They call it the "swine flu", it is a brand new flu not seen before. They have had to close down some schools to keep it from spreading. There is a lot of news about it. It isn't real bad on the people who get it here in the US, (not as bad as the people in Mexico, they don't know why) but they are not sure if it will return and be worse. It will be something to watch what does become of it in history.

Well, tomorrow will be a good day.
